Prayer Walk Recap and Reflections
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Intimacy with God through the Word - a reflection
As I write words about the recent CF Monday titled ‘Intimacy with God through the Word’ using Microsoft Word, I wonder why anyone would spend their precious time reading my words when they could be reading what the God of the universe has to say to them. Psalms 119, which the speaker introduces, tells us that seeking God’s Word would bless us and help keep our hearts pure. Through the process of sharing, I also had to think more about issues that I’ve neglected in the Chri
On the idols of academic excellence
Heya. I don’t have much Biblical knowledge or insight, and I’m certainly far from the most eloquent. In fact, do forgive my language and grammar (or lack thereof) as I attempt to string together more complete sentences than I have in the past 3 years of my degree. But I digress. Though I’m still imperfect and sinful, by God’s grace I’ve grown tremendously in the past three years, especially in fighting my academic idols. Thus, I’d like to share my story, hoping that it might
Theme of the Year: Walking with Jesus Daily
Creation, Fall, Crucifixion, Resurrection, Salvation. These fundamentals of the Christian faith are familiar to almost every Christian. Our songs are about them, our sermons teach them and our prayers are filled with references to them. However, when it comes to living life as a Christian everyday, our thoughts, actions and emotions are affected by so much more than what we learn at church on Sunday. While the core tenets of our religion anchor our beliefs and Christianity is
